We need to produce several product demo videos every week, but the process—spanning ideation, scripting, filming, and post-production—is constantly chaotic. How can we manage this effectively?

Our SaaS product iterates rapidly, requiring a steady stream of product demos, feature explainers, and growth-oriented short videos—multiple pieces per week.

The current issue is that the production workflow is fragmented: ideas are scattered across documents, scripts are discussed in group chats, product selling points rely on manual verification, and there is no centralized tracking of filming or editing progress. If a video gets stuck at any stage between planning and launch, the delay might not be noticed for days.

To make matters worse, marketing content often involves product capabilities, technical specifications, and use cases. Without a proper review process, it is easy for scripts to overstate actual functionality or for unverified selling points to slip through to the publishing stage.

I want to transform our video production into a transparent content pipeline where the current stage, the person in charge, and the next required actions for every video are visible in real-time. I also want AI to assist in verifying product information within scripts to ensure promotional content aligns with actual capabilities.

Can Busabase be used to build a system for this SaaS video production scenario? If so, what underlying data tables should be designed? At which stages can AI agents get involved—such as automatically tracking production progress, reviewing product selling points, or nudging the person in charge to move things forward?

Yes. I would start by giving a connected agent the production workflow and building a small shared system in Busabase, rather than asking it to “make videos” without a review process. A practical first version has three linked Bases:

  • Videos: title, audience, format/channel, owner, stage, next action, due date, release link.
  • Claims: linked video, proposed product statement, evidence/source, verification status, reviewer, last checked date.
  • Shots and assets: linked video, script version, filming date, editor, file link, production status.

Keep the brand and product rules in a Doc, and save a Skill for “research → draft script → verify claims → request review.” An App can show an idea queue, scripts awaiting claim review, a filming calendar, editing work, and ready-to-publish videos. The agent can organize briefs, draft scripts, flag unsupported claims, and propose status updates; the product owner confirms what the product actually does, and a human signs off before anything goes public. Automatic nudges require an actual scheduler and notification channel; a workflow diagram alone does not send them.

You can give the agent this prompt: “Help me build a demo-video production workspace in Busabase. Ask about our channels, review owners, evidence rules, and deadlines. Propose the three linked Bases, a claims-check Skill, and an App with queue, calendar, and review views. Use three sample videos first; submit external claims for my review.” The Busa Demo Video Factory template and template center provide a starting point to adapt.
