Research reports, competitor updates, meeting notes—they all seem worth saving at the time, but it’s easy to forget they’re there. How do you bring information stored in Busabase into your day-to-day work, rather than just letting it pile up?
Do you actually reuse what you save in your knowledge base?

Yes. In my day-to-day work, what I reuse most often is a way to start the next job, not just a report I saved months ago. My role spans several kinds of work, and describing each task precisely from scratch can take longer than it should. I often return to a Skill or a saved Agent prompt in Busabase, copy the instruction, and give it to my agent.
Here is the routine I use:
- Open the relevant Skill node and its Agent prompts tab. For a Base, Doc, or another node, open its ••• menu and choose Agent prompts.
- Pick the prepared scenario and click Copy (or Copy prompt in the dialog). Paste it into the agent you are working with, then add what is different this time: the date range, the material to check, and the result you need. The copied prompt already identifies the node, so I do not have to describe where the agent should work each time.
- When the job comes around again, start from that same prompt. If the team's steps or review criteria have changed, update the saved Skill or custom prompt so the next person starts from the current version.
Here is a sample Skill showing the scenario list, the prompt preview, and the Copy button:

For example, before a weekly competitor review I can reuse a prompt asking the agent to find recent observations and our last decision, cite the records or Docs it used, flag unsourced claims, and draft an update for the team. A proposed change can go through a Change Request before it becomes the team's current record. That is how saved research feeds the next decision rather than sitting in an archive.
A saved file is not automatically read into every conversation. Connected agents can discover workspace Skills and custom prompts, but copying one gives me a precise starting point when I need it. The Skills, Agent Playbooks, and Search Everything guides explain how those pieces work. What recurring task in your team would be worth saving a prompt for?
